Jfj Easy Pro Leaves Ring When Sanding
1. Place the Plexiglas on top of the machine and slide it in. Once the Plexiglas is completely on the base, you need to open the lid to make sure the surrounding is secured. Make sure the four corners of the base is on a flat surface. You will notice two wing nuts that need to be placed on the front and back of the Plexiglas, make sure to tighten them. 2. In order to pick up the CD, we suggest picking it up from the edge. This way you won't pick the plate up with the CD. 3. Occasionally the bottles may have trapped air inside them. Simply turn the bottle upside down and gently squeeze the sides to release the trapped air. 4. The black and white buffing pads require no cleaning, do not wash them. 5. When repairing GameCube games or any other mini CD's, you need to purchase a smaller plate. You also need a different black pad with the blue foam in the middle for sanding. You also need shorter white pads for buffing. (Note: Please do not use the black pad and the buffing pad that came with original machine, otherwise the pads will get ruined.) 6. The combination of white pad and white compound (polish #2) can be used to remove most light natural scratches. Simply increase the cleaning time to 2 minutes in order for medium scratches to be removed without sanding. Make sure there is an adequate compound on the buffing pad. 7. Our sandpaper requires no cleaning. To remove any build-up, lightly tap sandpaper. 8. When using the buffing pad for the first time, you need to use enough compound to cover most of the pad. It's important to reduce the amount of compound to 5-6 drops in order to get the best results. The more discs you clean, the less compound you need to use since it absorbs some of the compound into the pad. If the surface of the white pad turns black, more compound must be applied. 9. Excess compound can be cleaned with a wet cloth. The frame or any of the other parts do not need to be cleaned on a regular basis. If you see a build up, take off the top and clean the surrounding area. | ||

10. For a higher volume of repairs, we offer a double arm unit. This unit repairs two discs at a time. First time users should try running the machine with one arm first, in order to get familiarized with the unit. 11. When you wipe off a CD, fold a JFJ supplied towel in half and then in to thirds. After removing the disc from the unit, wipe it with the JFJ supplied towel in a circular motion from the inside out on both sides. Always apply a flat and even pressure to the disc. 12. As the buffing pad gradually wears down with use, the CD gets closer to the pocket. Replace the buffing pad before the CD touches the edge of the pocket. If the CD touches the edge of the pocket, the CD will be ruined. 13. When cleaning the lid, make sure to clean the edges of the lid and the edges of the base before replacing the lid. Otherwise, the edges will be uneven and the lid must sit completely flat. 14. We also sell shields that protect the information on all discs. We provide the thickest shields on the market. Other shields may be too thin and not stiff. This can cause damage to the disc because of pressure transferred through from the other side. If you already purchase shields, you may test the shields to see how efficient they are. Try scratching the shield to see if scratch can be felt on the other side. If so, they are too weak. 15. We do not recommend the use of non-JFJ compounds with the JFJ Disc Repair Machine. Many alternate compounds are hazardous to your health and contain chemicals that cause damage to the nervous system and produce temporary results that do not last. 16. When the machine is not in use, either take the pad out or leave the lid open. This is to save the pad from becoming damaged because of the pressure of the spring. 17. In order to save the title, on the title side of the double sided DVD, you need to trim the sandpaper, so the title does not get erased. The white buffing pad needs to be brand new. 18. WARNING: If for any reason you need to open the lid while the machine is being operated, please turn the red button to off. Otherwise the pads or your CD will get ruined. JFJ will not be responsible for any damages. 19. If the quality of your repaired discs does not look as good as new, please call us at 1-800-245-3675 or email us at gametech@pacbell.net before any further use. |
